Question:
I am a nurse who is making my postgraduation in Nursing School.
I read some articls about Nursing Diagnosis and i'd like to know if in
yours places you use them?
Answer:
sitdown and make a coherent plan--a problem we often had in critical care.<<
Picture having the time (as a Critcal Care Nurse) to sit down and make out
a
Nursing Diagnosis Care Plan!! That is hysterically funny! A Crictical
Care Nurse
doesn't sit down. They are far too busy doing real nursing and giving
real hands
on, life saving care, than to fool around making a "coherent plan" -- if
they made
one, if they actually wasted the time to try to make it coherent, just who
in *hell* would read the silly thing? There are far more important
things going on in a critical care unit than a nursing diagnosis, and if
you think otherwise, take time to visit a busy one. The first nurse you
see sitting down will probably be some visiting clip board nurse, not a
real nurse. Tell the attending your patient has "alteration in calmness"
secondary to _____ get real.
