Question:
Does anybody know the pass / no pass medical requirements?
I know that the heavy diabetes is the "no pass" disease.
I'd like to sponsor my mother. My mother has got diabetes. It is a light
form. She does not need an insulin. She takes a medicine, and stays on "no
sugar" diet to keep her blood sugar in a good level.
Can she pass the medical exam and get the landed immigrant status with that
disease?
Answer:
There is no such "pass/no pass" requirement. Nobody here can answer any medical
questions or give you any assessment. Your mother must undergo regular medicals
for immigration after she applies for immigration visa and results, together
with health history will be evaluated by medical experts at Health Ministry -
only they, after evaluating all information can determine if your mother is
medially admissible.
