Has anyone heard about a wristwatch device which is in development that would deliver insulin via iontophoresis?

Question:
Has anyone heard about a wristwatch device which is in development that would deliver insulin via iontophoresis? Any leads on the company name and phone number would be appreciated.

Answer:
The idea for iontophoretic delivery of insulin has been worked on by Lilly (at least probably by many more companies) for a while with minimal success. The insulin molecule in formulations exists as the hexamer and is too big to deliver via iontophoresis with any kind of inefficient. ON the other hand, perhaps LYS-Pro will be easier to deliver via iontophoresis. For some good research on the area check out the work of Richard Guy at US CSD F medical school. I will post references if anyone wants.
